Lauren successfully defend her WPBF title for the second time

The World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) Women's World Champion Mikaela Laur¨¦n successfully defended her WPBF Super Welterweight Title with a unanimous decision over Serbian Eva Halasi (10-5,9 KOs) in the second WPBF title defense at Alvik Gamla Tryckeriet,Stockholm,Sweden on October 5,2012. Lauren improved her impressive professional record to 17-2-0,6 KOs. The event was promoted by Mr.Eddie Bazira of Baltic Pro Box Promotions.
The 36-year-old Mikaela Laur¨¦n captured the WPBF world title in a fight against American Jill Emery in Sweden on September 24,2010. Lauren has successfully first defended her WPBF world title with a unanimous decision over Angel Mckenzie in Spain on July 23,2011. Laur¨¦n has notable victories over former world champion Jill Emery and tough contender Cindy Serrano with only losses were against reigning world champion Cecilia Braekhus and Spaish Loli Munoz.
