Chris Namus Successfully Defends WPBF Title

The World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) Women's World Super Lightweight Champion Chris Namus made her fourth successful defense of her WPBF super lightweight, winning a 10-round unanimous decision over Adriana Salles (12-7-1,6 KOs) of Brazil on Saturday night,June 23,2012. Namus improved to 17-3-0,7 KOs.
Chris Namus was born on October 3,1987 in Montevideo,Uruguay. Just 22 years old but already dubbed "Bombon Asesino" by the combination of her beauty and her manner of fighting. On February 13,2010,Chris Namus (13-1,5KOs) won the vacant WPBF women's world super lightweight title with an impressible seventh-round TKO victory over Adriana Salles ( 11-5-1 ,5 KOs) of Brazil,she made history by becoming Uruguay's first world boxing champion. Her boxing career has strong support from the President of Uruguay.
