Brian Vera wins vacant WPBF International Title

Former Contender Series Middleweight contender Brian Vera (20-6, 12 KOs), now with veteran trainer Ronnie Shields in his corner, returned for the first time since last year's decision loss to Andy Lee, and won a tough eight round unanimous decision over Taronze Washington (14-17, 7 KOs) for vacant World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) International Middleweight Title on Saturday, April 21st at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
